About Starling Cycles
Starling Cycles is a UK based mountain bike brand focusing on simple, elegant, and robust steel bikes. What started as a small side project quickly became an esteemed brand winning several awards for their designs. Their brand challenges the idea of more is better and the complex materials and marketing gimmicks used by larger companies. In a constantly evolving industry, Starling Cycles offers a refreshing approach to bike design.
One of the greatest parts of owning a Starling is how modular they are. There are almost no limits on how you can customize their bikes. Their full suspension frames can accommodate both 210mm and 230mm shock lengths, which allows the rider to change the rear travel between 120, 135, 150, and 165mm simply by changing out the rear shock. With frames that accommodate full 27.5”, full 29”, and mixed wheels, you can choose the ride characteristics that best suit your riding conditions and style.
Starling Cycles offers a collection of frames made to suit a variety of riders. The Murmur is their full 29” full suspension frame which is capable of accommodating between 120-150mm of rear travel. If you option the Mega Murmur swingarm, it will then accommodate 165mm of rear travel. The Mega Murmur swingarm will lengthen your chainstay which is beneficial for those looking for a more stable platform or those who require larger frame sizes. If you’re looking for something more playful, Starling offers the Swoop which has full 27.5” wheels and the Twist which is their mixed wheel setup (29” F, 27.5” R). Starling also offers the Roost, a stainless-steel hardtail frame which accommodates a 120-160mm fork. With all the different options available, it is difficult not to find what you are looking for with a Starling frame.
